WA ignored in AFL cash injection for country footy
The WA Football Commission is disappointed it has been overlooked by the AFL – once again – for a massive funding boost for country football.
AFL boss Gillon McLachlan made the announcement yesterday that the league would be spending $18 million dollars over three years to support country football in Victoria.
WAFC Executive Manager – Country Football and Facilities, Tom Bottrell told Gareth Parker, they’ll now be lobbying the AFL for a national roll out of the country footy funding.
