Suzi Quatro has revealed to Simon Beaumont the inspiration behind her song ‘Glycerine Queen.’

Quatro said many years ago backstage before a show a man was asked if he “takes glycerine.”

He responded “I take anything” and rather than applying the glycerine to his skin he drank a glass containing the substance.
