There are calls for an increase in Medicare funding for GP consultations that run for longer than 20 minutes.
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners’ Dr Harry Nespolon told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the current arrangement disadvantages people who need longer, perhaps more complex, consultations.
