The Subiaco Council want to lure back football fans by offering up free parking in Subiaco when the footy moves to Burswood.

“We are endeavoring to make our parking a lot better and more identifiable for people to come and park, visit Subiaco, go to the footy at the new Perth Stadium and then come back,” Julie Matheson, Subiaco councilor told 6PR Breakfast.

But some of our listeners say it was the council who have let the footy fans down; one caller said “it’s too little, too late” and another added “I don’t feel any sympathy for the council.”
