Charlotte’s Law

Gary Adshead

The father of a teenager killed by a dangerous driver in 2015, has welcomed new laws doubling the maximum penalty for drivers who cause the death of other people on WA roads.

Charlotte’s Law is named in honour of 19 year old Charlotte Pemberton, who died when a speeding motorcyclist slammed into the car she was a passenger in.

Her father Wayne told Mornings with Gareth Parker, he hopes the changes make people think twice about their behaviour on our roads.
