Calls for greater access to quality palliative care in WA

In 2012, Cathryn Blennerhassett was told she had melanoma and didn’t have long to live.

The devastating news left Cathryn and husband Wayne turning to palliative care services for support.

It’s support they are surprised to have been receiving for nearly seven years now, as Cathryn continues to beat the odds and fight the disease.

Cathryn, Wayne and experienced palliative nurse practitioner Lou Angus joined Gareth Parker on the Morning Show today to discuss palliative care and the need for quality palliative care services in WA.
