The West Coast Eagles are hoping to have their ruck stocks boosted to launch the AFL Finals series against the Bombers next week.

Nic Naitanui has not played since Round 17 after suffering an ankle injury against Collingwood, but his teammate is confident the big man will return in time to start the finals.

“I think so. He trained well last week and he’ll do another week of training this week,” Josh Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.
“He’s got a few good weeks’ training under his belt now. I assume that he’ll be ready to go by the time the Essendon game comes around.”
