Hill defends skipper

Fremantle lost an “easy” game on Sunday and their captain copped criticism from the experts, but fellow midfielder Bradley Hill stuck up for his skipper.
Paul Roos said Nat Fyfe’s defensive run was “bottom end” but Hill told 6PR Breakfast sometimes you make mistakes and sometimes you have to do what’s right in the moment.
“Everyone has to work hard both ways, obviously you get caught out a couple of times. Even when I played at Hawthorn, Sam Mitchell, I’d grab his man, you just need to do your role for the team. Everyone covers each others opponents when they need,” Hill says.
“So you’re saying Sam Mitchell was too slow and you had to run with his man,” Baz joked.
“Pretty much, he told me to,”Hill replied and laughed.
Steve and Baz also asked about the fresh rumours surrounding his brother’s latest injury.
