The Brisbane Lions have demolished the Fremantle Dockers by 57-points in only their second win of the season.

The Lions increased their lead at every quarter in their big win over Fremantle, and their first against the Dockers for almost eight years, 18.13.121 to 9.10.64.

Aaron Sandilands is still out of the Dockers side while Ed Langdon comes out with a knee concern and Brennan Cox made his AFL debut. While Brady Grey was out of the game early with an injury.

Listen to how the game played out.

“We need to go to the break, we need to reassess, we need to make some changes.”
Hear what the Fremantle coach had to say after the game.

“There’s been plenty of games where we’ve hand passed too much, got ourselves into trouble, turn the ball over and the game’s over, so it was pleasing today.”
Dayne Zorko had 30 disposals and two goals for the game and spoke with us after the win.

“It’s been a bit up and down, we play some good footy and then some weeks we play some bad footy, so it’s not acceptable, but there’s some things we’ve got to work on.”
Bradley Hill spoke with us after the game.

Brisbane Lions Assistant Coach, Danny Daly previewed the game on 6PR.

Michael Prior told 6PR before the game that a fast start is hard to come by. “It’s always a focus, it doesn’t always happen…we haven’t been great in that area this year”
