Former Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan has raised the idea of a ‘Good Samaritan law’ to see mandatory prison sentences introduced for people who attack those who come to the aid of others.

Mr O’Callaghan made the suggestion while speaking on Mornings with Gareth Parker, about the case of Terrance Cameron, a Swan View grandfather who was left with a fractured skull after intervening to protect his neighbour from a beating.
