Some WA Liberal MPs have expressed concern that the amount of compensation offered to taxi plate owners is inadequate.

The State Government announced a $20,000 compensation package  following the legalisation of ride-sharing services like Uber and Shofer.

Member for Southern River Peter Abetz has told Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show,  one suggestion tabled in the partyroom this week, is a $1 surcharge on all taxi and ride-share passengers.
