DAY 5: For the first time on the tour Millsy dived into remote camping with no access to power, a complete three-hour outdoor broadcast from a mystery location and completely off the grid.
And the show didn’t go off air once!
Steve and Tricia drove into the night after leaving Port Hedland with their ‘roo shoes’ coming into good use.
Millsy’s off-grid setup for the program.
He spoke to Nick Allen, the caravan whisperer from Jayco Caravanland shared the best information on how to know if you have the right van for your trip and the best maintenance tips for Millsy during his travels.

And the off-grid technology keeps getting better thanks to one of Millsy’s rescuers being Dave Warmun who runs the Broome Gateway Caravan Park.
