The list of Christmas songs that truly capture a real Aussie Christmas is short, especially when it comes to one about a Perth Christmas.

Slim Jim and Dave Warner, icons of the Perth music scene, have released a song celebrating Christmas at Rottnest.

6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy spoke to Jamie ‘Slim Jim’ Mercanti about the inspiration behind the song.

“The song is an absolute killer; when you hit the chorus, everybody wants to sing along,” he said.
