Second-tier Eagles need to lift, says Simpson

Adam Simpson has put the heat on some of his second-tier players after a disappointing defeat to Collingwood on Saturday.
The West Coast Eagles lost by 19 points and had seven players who had less than 10 possessions.
Simpson said the Eagles could not rely on Nic Naitanui to be the quick-fix when he returns this weekend in the Western Derby.
Former Eagles player and now commentator Karl Langdon said only Josh Kennedy, Jeremy McGovern, Matt Priddis, Luke Shuey and Andrew Gaff have performed at a consistent level on 6PR on Sunday.
‘We’ve been really happy with our leaders and our top-end talent doing as much as they can we’ve just got to try and drag a few more over the line,’ he said.
‘The consistency and continuity of our players hasn’t been strong.’
