A large piece of space debris that washed up in WA’s Mid West last year now has a permanent home at Scitech but its yet to be named.

Scitech Planetarium coordinator Leon Smith spoke to 6PR Afternoons host Julie-Anne Sprague and said the object now sits in Scitech as part of a public exhibit but the West Perth science museum wants one West Aussie to name it.

“We’re looking for names that hopefully take some sort of flavour from scientific naming conventions,” Mr Smith said.
