The State Government has announced businesses affected by the ongoing development works at Scarborough, can now apply for a disruption pay-out.

Planning Minister, Rita Saffioti, has told Mornings with Gareth Parker, she’s also urging the City of Stirling to slash rates for the impacted businesses.

But the owner of Sandbar, Ben Randall, has told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the pay-out is a slap in the face.

Owner of The Wild Fig, Chris Burke, says he is set to get just $440 as compensation for $1 million in lost revenue.
