17-time Grand Slam singles champion Roger Federer will head to Perth for the 2017 Hopman Cup.

The Swiss superstar returns to the mixed doubles tournament after 15 years, and will partner countrywoman and world number 16 Belinda Bencic.

?Federer, who won the event with Martina Hingis in 2001, and competed with his now wife Mirka in 2002, said it was the perfect tournament to start the 2017 season.
