Reserved Ricciardo ready for season ahead
A more reserved Daniel Ricciardo says he is ready for the 2016 F1 season after a disappointing season last year.
Ricciardo’s car never got going last year and as a result neither did his Championship bid.
The 26-year-old Perth native finished last season in eighth place on the drive standings even behind junior teammate Daniil Kvyat.
‘I’m more reserved,’ he said on 6PR’s Sports Today.
‘I’m obviously positive and optimistic, but we’ll see how we go.
‘Until it starts you don’t really know. We still haven’t even tested yet.
We test the new car next week. Until we get in the car and I get understanding I’ll just keep it cool.’
