Major newspapers have censored their front pages to campaign for better protections for journalists and whistleblowers.

It follows police raids on the home of a Newscorp journalist and the ABC headquarters earlier this year — looking for the source of sensitive stories.

Nine Entertainment Co CEO Hugh Marks told Gareth Parker the campaign is important for all Australians and highlighted recent stories which wouldn’t have come to light if not for the work of journalists.
