Bill Johnson, the Minister for Commerce and Industrial Relations, tells Oliver Peterson why the Labor Government doesn’t agree with Mike Nahan’s call to de-regulate trading hours in WA.

He said that they currently regulate the hours large retailers open to allow small business an advantage over large retailers and so retail workers can have some certainty about their lives.
