The State Government has proposed a reduction in groundwater allocations by 10% to rural land owners in Wanneroo.

Today Oliver Peterson spoke to North Wanneroo Residents Association Chair Mark Zagar about why the landowners are outraged by this announcement and what it could mean for the community.

Following on from this, Oliver spoke to water and agriculture expert Ken Blakers to get further insight into the issue.

The draft Gnangara groundwater allocation plan will be open for a three month public consultation period.
