The WA Cricket Association has released an ambitious proposal to rejuvenate the WACA Ground, and is seeking $60 million from the state and federal governments to help bankroll it.

WACA CEO Christina Matthews told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the development would include a piazza to be used for concerts and markets, a public gym, and a new cricket museum.

The 6PR Breakfast listeners took sides on whether the upgrade to the WACA would be worth it or a waste of money.
