WA coronavirus cases jumps to 52
WA has another 17 COVID-19 patients, 10 male and seven female, bringing the total to 52.
The youngest of the new cases are in their 20s, the oldest in their 70s.
Four are known to have recently come back from overseas.
Health minister Roger Cook says 12 of the cases are being investigated to determine the source of infection, but it’s clear we’ve now entered a new phase of community transmission.
