On Perth Tonight Chris spoke with Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS) Executive Officer, Dr Cassandra Goldie about the confronting reality of inequality in Australia and how to address it.

“We need to be able to talk…a frank discussion about making sure that we are paying our fair share and that we respect our obligation to contribute to the tax system and do we have enough revenue collected as a community to make sure that every kid…is not particularly disadvantaged,” Ms Goldie said.

“The growing rate of child poverty in Australia…we’re not doing what we should be doing,” she said.
