The City of Perth was considering lowering busking fees whilst imposing stricter quality control measures -including mandatory auditions to determine a buskers license eligibility.

Fremantle Markets CEO Natasha Atkinson disagrees with the proposed approach to emerging artists, arguing they need a platform.

Ms Atkinson told Chris she thought that Perth’s loss would be Fremantle’s gain.
