There are calls for more fencing to be erected along a new stretch of road in Whiteman to prevent local kangaroos from being hit by cars.

Local wildlife carer Andrea Marzi says she’s run off her feet responding to calls about kangaroos being hit along a recently opened stretch of New Lord Street.

Ms Marzi told Mornings with Gareth Parker, it’s carnage for local wildlife.
