Queensland fruit fly spotted in Como

Residents in the Como, South Perth, Karawara and Kensington areas are being asked to keep a close eye on fruit and vegetables grown in their gardens after Queensland fruit fly was spotted in the area. Rosalie McCauley is the Biosecurity manager at the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development and is asking residents in the area to make sure they don’t take homegrown fruit and veggies out of the quarantine area.
