An opportunity has been missed to give Australia’s three million smokers access to a far less harmful alternative in e-cigarettes according to the Australian Tobacco Harm Reduction Association. Chair of the ATHRA Associate Professor Colin Mendelsohn says a dissenting report on e-cigarettes a tabled in parliament today was a huge disappointment for those believing in evidence-based public health policy.
