Police urge calm in Geraldton after shooting
Tensions are spilling over in Geraldton in the wake of a fatal police shooting of an Aboriginal woman.
The 29-year-old died in hospital after being shot by an officer on Tuesday night.
Deputy Police Commissioner Gary Dreibergs told Gareth Parker, his thoughts go out to the woman’s family, and to the officer who fired the shot.
