The CEO of a Perth research company set to undertake the first human trials of a COVID19 vaccine – is reassuring volunteers the process is comprehensive.

Linear Clinical Research is searching for 138 healthy volunteers to take part in the trial – which will see some given the vaccine and others a placebo – and monitored for 24 months.

The world-first trial will look at the safety of the vaccine and the body’s immune response.

CEO Jayden Rogers told Gareth Parker on Mornings it’s been a rigorous process to even get to this point – including submissions to an independent human research and ethics committee.
