Perth flash mob to support women’s gynaecological health

Tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm Elizabeth Quay will host an unusual flash mob, designed to target awareness of health problems which have been taboo to speak about for many years.

The Perth campaign to recognise and support those issues, including ovary, vulva, and uterine cancer, fibroids, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, endometriosis, is lead by Kath Mazzella OAM, WA Senior Australian of the Year 2018 and International Gynaecological (GYN) Health Awareness Day speaker.

She joins us to talk about the goals of the campaign, and the toll suffering in silence can take on victims and the community.
