One Nation’s Plan To Support Small Business

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has written to the Prime Minister seeking legislative change to boost support for small businesses and their critical need for cash flow.

She’s proposing a “timely payment policy”, which would enforce stricter timelines on invoices.

Today, Oliver Peterson spoke to the Senator about the policy proposal.

“One of the biggest problems for small business is they are not getting paid on time.  A lot of big businesses are withholding money from small business for up to 120 days.

“Under our policy, businesses must be paid in 30 days from the end of month.

“If these companies don’t pay, they will have to pay an 8% levy plus the Reserve Bank interest rate charge as well.”
