Fremantle forward Hayden Ballantyne is one hurdle away from playing his first AFL game of the season.

Ballantyne told Steve and Baz he just needs to get through training tomorrow and he will be good to go.
“Ross is saying I’m going to get picked so fingers crossed for me, but I’ve got to get through training tomorrow and then be on the bird and go play met old mates down at Geelong,” Ballantyne said.

“I’ll be out there going as hard as I can and I trust that I’ve done the work; hammy’s feeling really good, the rest of the body’s feeling really good.”
