Ocean and Paddock in Albany was last night recognised as WA’s Best Fish and Chips as judged by WA Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) at the 2019 Western Australian Seafood Industry Awards.

Owner Trenton Brennan told Oliver Peterson that the win came down to having access to amazing local seafood in the region.

“It’s great for the region that when people think about Albany they think about local sustainable WA seafood.”

Ocean and Paddock are now in the running for the National Award.

The National winner of the 2019 Australian Fish and Chips Awards will be announced on 10 October 2019 at the National Seafood Industry Awards in Melbourne.
