Police are reassuring the public that there’s no needle-stabbing threat in Northbridge, after finding no evidence to support an 18-year-old woman’s claim.

The woman alleged that she was stabbed with needle filled with a date rape drug while at the Universal Bar last Friday night.

Co-owner of the bar, Trevor Candido spoke to Oliver Peterson today to express his frustration at the false claims the woman made and the damage they have potentially done to the reputation of his business and Northbridge.
