“No-one likes a whinger”: Daniher opens up about his life & footy journey

He’s a man most footy fans would be familiar with whether from his playing days, his coaching career or more recently as the face of the Fight MND’s Big Freeze at the ‘G.

Neale Daniher was told he only had years to live when he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2013 but has instead spent the last six years working tirelessly to raise money for the treatment and a cure for the disease.

In Perth to speak about his book When All Is Said and Done, Neale and his wife Jan joined Gareth Parker in the 6PR studio about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude in the face of adversity, keeping a sense of humour and how life is too short to wait for another time to do what’s important.

When All Is Said and Done is available now. If you want to get involved with the fight against MND, visit fightmnd.org.au
