Mirror-image home rejected by Town of Cambridge

Gary Adshead

A Perth couple’s bid to build their ‘forever home’ has been rejected by the Town of Cambridge, because the property’s mirror-image design has been deemed a multiple dwelling.

68 year old Adrian Corp, and his partner of 14 years, 59 year old Lee Katavatis, designed the home in two halves, to allow them some independence from each other while still living under the same roof.

As Adrian explained to Gareth Parker, the property is specifically designed to suit their needs as they age.
