Minister responds to prison corruption findings

Corrective Services minister Fran Logan has confirmed he’s referred the cases of two prison officers accused of smuggling drugs into prisons, to police.

Another damning Corruption and Crime Commission report released this week, revealed prison officers were bribed and blackmailed to supply illicit drugs to criminals behind bars.

Fran Logan told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the behaviour of some officers has been unacceptable.
