Labor MLC Kate Doust wants her government to step up and do more to address issues for subcontractors in WA, in the wake of the Cooper & Oxley trading halt.

Hundreds of subcontractors are facing an uncertain future, after Cooper & Oxley informed them this week that it couldn’t currently pay them.

Ms Doust told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the case comes as a timely, but sad reminder that government should be making the issue more of a priority.
