Federal Justice minister Michael Keenan has announced a National Gun Amnesty, to encourage people to hand in unregistered and unwanted firearms.

Mr Keenan told Mornings with Gareth Parker, it’s the first nation-wide gun amnesty since the one which followed the Port Arthur Massacre.
