It’s time to start talking about which, if any, restrictions could be lifted in WA

The head of the state branch of the Australian Medical Association says we need to start discussing how coronavirus restrictions will be lifted.

Encouraging figures yesterday showed only three new cases of the illness in WA — although testing numbers were low, due to the holidays.

It’s prompted calls for some of the rules and social distancing restrictions to be reviewed.

Doctor Andrew Miller told Gareth Parker on Mornings you need to wait two weeks after any change to see if any tweaks are working.
