Intrastate travel relaxed, interstate travel closed “for some time to come”

An announcement will be made by the weekend on the next wave of easing of virus-related restrictions in WA.

From Friday travel is again allowed across the state with the exception of the Kimberley.

The State Government is working with the Commonwealth to lift biosecurity regulations to allow visitors back to Broome.

Premier Mark McGowan told Oliver Peterson he doesn’t believe interstate borders will open for some months.
