Increase to minimum wage unlikely: Porter

The Industrial Relations Minister isn’t expecting a rise in the minimum wage following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unions are calling for those in jobs such as cleaners and super market workers to have their pay boosted by around 4 percent.

Speaking to Gareth Parker on Mornings, Christian Porter says he believes upping the minimum wage would come at the expense of future job creation.
