Listeners have been blown away by one of this year’s recipients of a Young Australia League scholarship, after she joined Mornings with Gareth Parker to share some of story.

Shontae Coyne admitted she was nervous heading into the interview, but the 15 year old Swan View Senior High School student came into her own as she explained just what the scholarship would mean for her dream of becoming a doctor.

Gareth and Shontae were joined in studio by YAL CEO, Tammy-Rae Schaper, who had details on how people can apply for their scholarships.
