WA’s worst water guzzlers will be hit with a hike in this week’s state budget of up to 16 per cent.

The new pricing model will mean lower-usage households will see an average bill increase of 5.5 per cent,

Water minister Dave Kelly told Mornings with Gareth Parker households which use more than 500 kilolitres of water a year will see the biggest rise.
