GPs mask supply ‘wouldn’t last you a day’: East Freo GP

An East Fremantle GP believes it’s a tough choice between treating those with Coronavirus and protecting other patients from the virus.

WA recently confirmed it’s third case of COVID-19, a woman in her 30s is currently in self isolation at home in a stable condition.

Dr Montgomery says without a solid supply of personal protection equipment at each clinic it’s difficult to help everyone at once.

He’s told Gareth Parker on Mornings he’s concerned the amount of personal protection equipment available at regular clinics is lower than required to deal with Coronavirus and doesn’t believe there is enough communication about PPE supply stocks.
