Fight to Save Wetlands

A protester has scaled a tree in Kenwick as the fight continues to save 100 trees at a local wetlands.

The area around Brixton Street  is a significant roost site for hundreds of endangered black cockatoos.

Developers are looking to cut down the trees for its drainage system as part of a proposed industrial transport hub.

Protester Paddy Cullen says a local activist has scaled the tree  to highlight their concerns.
