“Don’t Stuff It Up:” Josh Kennedy

Josh Kennedy took us through the motions with this record-breaking kick for goal against Fremantle on Sunday.

Kennedy entered the Derby on par with Peter Sumich’s record of 514 goals for the West Coast Eagles, but got his chance to surpass the goal-kicking legend early in the game.

Josh Kennedy said he was thinking at that moment: “just don’t miss it, don’t stuff it up.”

Training at Optus Stadium has been cancelled for three weeks because of reports the turf is too hard, but Kennedy says despite the hardness, the ground suits the Eagles.
“A bit more width has really helped and as a forward you really want more space out there,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.
