The Federal Opposition has all-but backed a new GST deal, which could see WA finally get a better return.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg yesterday indicated he’ll include a guarantee that no state will be worse off under the new carve-up formula.

Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen told Mornings with Gareth Parker, he thinks the deal will go through, but he still needs to see the legislation.
