The City of Perth has confirmed it’s axing a number of management positions to address a surge in staff levels in recent years, which the council’s commissioners believe was unnecessary.

Commissioner Andrew Hammond told Gareth Parker, the number of managers at the City of Perth doubled in the two years prior to his appointment in early 2018.
